UTNA Board By-Laws Revision Meeting Scheduled for 2/7/17

The UTNA Board will be holding the first of potentially several meetings to begin revising/updating the Association's by-laws. UTNA members are welcome to attend. The meeting will be held on Tues. Feb. 7th in the Red Room of Lambeth House (150 Broadway St.) at 6:00 pm. Please contact president@uptowntriangle.com if you would like to attend so we may ensure there is enough room for everyone who would like to be present.

AUDUBON CHARTER SCHOOL'S ANNUAL FALL FETE TO BE HELD OCT. 22 11AM-6PM

Audubon Charter’s Annual Fall Fete will be held 11am – 6pm on Saturday Oct 22 at Danneel Park on St Charles Ave at Octavia St.  All are welcome to come enjoy food by local restaurants (Lilette, Crepe a la Cart, Café Atchafalaya & more), refreshments (Hansen’s Son Bliz, Kronenbourg, Cest la Vie, and more), music (Bras-a-holics, Tuba Skinny, Thibault and more) and lots of games & activities for all ages.

CANCELED-ANNUAL NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING SCHEDULED FOR 10/18/16 AT LAMBETH HOUSE

Our annual neighborhood meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 18 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Lambeth House Auditorium has been canceled to be instead held this upcoming spring, 2017.

Donations for pet waste bags needed!

We’d like to thank everyone who supports the pet waste dispenser program. This program benefits the entire neighborhood and helps to keep our neighborhood cleaner.  It costs $1200 per year to keep the dispensers filled. 

We are in need of 25 donations at $10 each to purchase more bags.  Please help.

HALLOWEEN ON HILLARY, OCT. 31ST, 6:00-8:00 PM

A reminder that our annual Halloween neighborhood block party, Halloween on Hillary, will be held this Saturday, Oct. 31st from 6:00-8:00 pm om the 300-500 blocks of Hillary and Cherokee.


Vinson private patrol will be present to ensure a safe and fun evening of trick-or-treating. Neighbors who are not residents of these blocks are welcome and encouraged to set up tables with candy on any of the participating blocks if you would like to be part of the event.

Also, if anyone has interest in coordinating next year's event or would like to propose other blocks to hold the event on next year, please contact Linda Baynhum at linda@baynhamenvironmental.com.

Our annual neighborhood meeting is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 20 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Lambeth House Auditorium (located at 150 Broadway St. on corner of Broadway and Leake Ave.). In addition to updates on several neighborhood issues and events from UTNA members, we will have present three representatives from the City of NO- Councilmember Susan Guidry, Zoning Administrator Ed Horan, and Deputy Director of Code Enforcement Tammie Jackson- who will provide us with information on wider city issues and how they pertain to our neighborhood. ORLEANS PARISH ASSESSOR CURRENTLY IN OPEN ROLLS PERIOD

This is a reminder that we are currently within the open rolls period (July 15-Aug. 15) where you are able to appeal your property's value/taxable assessment with the Orleans Parish Assessor's Office if you think it is too high. For more info on how to do so, please click here.
