Neighborhood tree planting

posted Oct 31, 2012, 1:41 PM by Chris Liuzza
On March 22nd and 23rd, 2012, Randy and Connie from Hike for KaTREEna led a group of volunteers in a free tree planting throughout the UTNA area. Twenty five properties added approximately 70 trees to the neighborhood canopy. There were a variety of trees planted including Crepe Myrtles, Japanese Magnolias, and a variety of fruit trees. We want to thank everyone involved. If you missed out on this planting and are still interested in free trees, contact Hike for KaTREEna to see about adding trees to your property: www.hikefor katreena.com. UTNA thanks its own member and neighbor, Robert Rothman, for his help in organizing this event.
