Pearls In The Pearl (A Yard Sale Event) Returns - Saturday, May 17th

The biannual neighborhood yard sale, Pearls in the Pearl, is scheduled for Saturday, May 17th and will be held at Banneker School, again.  The goal of the yard sale is to give our neighbors a chance to declutter, and to attract buyers so we can collectively sell some of our items, ranging from clothing to electronics, home furnishings to collectibles.  Participants can sell at Banneker School OR from their own homes, as traffic is directed, by flier, to all registered addresses.  The UTNA also hopes the event, as it grows, will become a steady fundraiser for association sponsored activities, like the biannual meetings, Halloween on CH-illary, and the neighborhood party.  Registration is $5, table rental is $12 (limited amount), participants are encouraged to donate 10 percent of their proceeds to the UTNA (but not required). Please click here for the registration form.

We hope you will join us.  This event is only successful when we have a LOT of sellers with varied wares.  Questions, please email audubonvolunteer@yahoo.com and put "Pearls in the Pearl" in the subject line.  Thank you.

We are still in need of donations to refill the pet waste dispensers. Our goal is $1200 for the year. We have collected $1055. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Please donate to help keep your neighborhood clean. If you are unable to donate at this time, but would like to contribute, please add your donation to your annual UTNA membership dues with a note that the additional amount is for the pet waste dispenser bags.

Last year, the contributions of 26 people allowed us to purchase 40,000 bags at a cost of about $1200.
This project has been a huge success. A big thank those who generously contributed this year and last, we are very grateful.
